"The sixth release of the Aureon Records’ catalogue sees Sinan Kaya in command of the operations. The producer from Istanbul is not a newbie to the scene, on the contrary he’s been active since 2001, firstly on the decks and then as a recording artist, always trying to blend into his musical recipe a vast range of styles. For the above mentioned reasons it’s not at all an exotic choice by the Italian label to adopt his talent and versatility to fully express its very own sound. The four-track EP starts with ‘Alive’, which gives the name to the record: a very compact beat with some delicate, yet very present chords and a remarkable harmonic progression. The second track is Riciar Ghir’s version of the previous one, this time with some even more substantial rhythmics, all-in-all a faster and more club-like approach. ‘Space Rhythm’, with its carefree saxophone sampled blows and some masterly produced strings, takes the listener to a more jovial and summery sonic environment, while the closing tune ‘Illusion Of You’ shifts the perspective back to a Deep-er dimension, yet with a very declared upbeat mood. Generally, as we previously said, ‘Alive’ by Sinan Kaya symbolises Aureon’s versatility and open mind when it comes to picking the ambassadors of its sound, and the Turkish artist doesn’t disappoint.
