Hot Molten Lava
[Lumberjacks In Hell]
Music heads, Apparel Music followers and not... Listen up! If you ain't heard about HOT MOLTEN LAVA yet, you're seriously missing out. This LP just dropped a few days ago, and it's already making waves.
Written and produced by the dynamic Amsterdam pair of multi-instrumentalists Lu\Lu and LMYA this record is out on the always sharp Lumberjacks in Hell imprint, owned by our old acquaintance, the German Amsterdam-based DJ and producer Marcel Vogel. This seven-track bomb is available both on vinyl and digital, and it’s worth copping in both formats. The genre of the album might be listed as club/disco/funk house, but these two have cooked up a whole new vibe that's pure fire. It's a slick blend of modern house that’s got something for everyone. Let's break it down: "Keep Trying" is the opener and is an anthem, straight up. It's got those feel-good vibes that'll keep you moving from start to finish. Perfect way to kick things off. Guys, "Drunk" is wild! It's got this crazy catchy beat, and just wait till you see the music video dropping next weekend. It’s gonna blow your mind. “Retro" takes you deep into the future of House Music, proper sonic uncharted territory. It’s also got a slightly nostalgic disco feel with a modern twist that’s impossible to resist. “Hotmoltenlava"is pure heat. It's got a fast, driving beat and some groovy vocals that'll melt the dancefloor. This is the track you play when you wanna set the night on fire. With “Lunacy” things get a bit crazy. It’s funky and classy, it's energetic and smooth at the same time, and it’s got this insane energy that'll have you losing your mind in the best way possible. This one "Can't Stop Overthinking" dives deep. More mellow yet danceable, with a beat that'll keep you moving while the lyrics hit you right in the feels. With "Keep Trying (Extended Version)" They close things out with an extended mix of the opener. More of that dope vibe to keep the party going even longer. Every track on this LP is a banger, no fillers, just straight-up fire. Lu\Lu and LMYA have seriously outdone themselves with HOT MOLTEN LAVA. If you're a fan of club and disco house, or just good music in general, you need this record in your life. Get it on vinyl for that authentic feel or digital if you're on the go. Either way, you won’t regret it.
