"Wait a minute El Niño Andres, what an LP you’ve put together! The Croatian’s producer’s ‘Life Is Worth Living’ is a truly exquisite selection of fresh, soulful, sensual, stylish and most importantly classy tunes. He hails from Mostar, a famous town known for its beautiful bridge (the Stari Most) and we can easily assert that his new album effortlessly connects many genres without sounding like a disjointed playlist of House/Jazz and Funk tracks. The LP, due to be released on the label Jacky Brown the next 10th of September 2021 is, on the contrary, a superb sonic blend which has to be listened from the first joint ‘Come Closer’ -with its harmonic climax and its marvellous sax- to the final ‘The Woman I Love’ with its Samba-like rhythms and its mellow chords; passing from the vibrant tribal beats of ‘Closer Closer’ and the intricate rhythmic experiment of ‘The Approach of Midnight’. ‘Life Is Worth Living LP’ represents precisely what we like to hear from an album: a meticulous sonic research, a whimsically designed idea presented with a very personal touch and a tangible identity. This is an album that can be played out on any occasion: either at chilled dinner with friends, a sunset on the beach or to a packed club, and that’s because its author tries to see the matter from so many different angles. In short: what a pleasant surprise this record is, right when we thought that the summery musical highlights were coming to an end. Massive shouts to the motherhouse Jacky Brown for carrying out this project and of course to its mastermind, El Niño Andres. 10/9 is the release date."
