Low Volume began in 2005, when two old friends from India found themselves living in the same neighbourhood in Germany. Life was busy, careers were starting, and the only time to make music was late at night, in a small bedroom studio, with the volume turned down so low it was almost inaudible. That constraint became the name, and in many ways, the sound: quiet, intimate, built for headphones and empty rooms.
