A sonic journey rooted in origins, history, and the interconnectedness of humanity, BAOBAB is a five-track EP inspired by Mambele’s 2024 trip to Senegal. Blending ambient textures, hip-hop beats, house grooves, and reggae warmth, this project channels the spirit of Africa while embracing a global sound. The closing track, Kimia, is a deeply personal tribute, produced alongside Lola G for their newborn daughter, enriched by the soulful vocals of Dhazed and Spataro’s expressive wind instrumentation.
