Phuture Shock Musik keeps it moving with No. 5 in their limited dubplate series, which sees deep house titan Trinidadian Deep return to the Bristol imprint with a 2-track juggernaut of percussion-heavy riddims and mystical frequencies; entitled ‘Jah Fe Movements’ b/w ‘Casa Profunda’. On the flip is the uplifting, Afro-Latin-flavoured rhythms of ‘Casa Profunda’, which by contrast is a more sky-facing affair but no less aimed at the dancefloor as the lead cut, awash with breezy, euphoric pads and jazzy sax licks, that meander between sultry Latina vocals hovering over percussion-fuelled beats and a rolling bass groove with a tropical bounce.
