So many catchy elements in this track from the vocals to the break beat to all of the video game sounds sprinkled throughout. Amazing song from a garage legend on one my favorite labels - Swing City Records.
Tom Novy - I Rock
I swear that this song can cure depression. Beautiful classic house track from Tom Novy featuring vocals from Virginia. I love the positive energy on “I Rock”. I discovered this memorable song on a mostly unremarkable vinyl over the summer while digging at the Impressions record in Philadelphia. It has been in heavy rotation ever since! As a dj - I have discovered that this is a great song to end the night with.

Hypnotic new release from Dj Windows 7 out on one my favorite labels Miura records. Obsessed with the swingy drums and bumping bass on this track. I love all of Dj Windows 7’s releases and this is fast becoming one of my favorites from him.

An infectious groover from ROKAR - an artist I recently discovered after their release on Semi Delicious. Everything in this track fits perfectly and I can’t wait to play it out this weekend. Love all of the washouts and bassline switch ups. I am obsessed with the m1 bass sound - on this track it adds a timeless energy.
Matt Gillespie - Coming Up
Incredibly catchy tune out on Pogo House from Matt Gillespie The thumping low end on this tune allows deep house influenced melodic elements to effortlessly groove with swingy garage drums. Great track that can be played out at any time to lift the energy in the room. I actually played it out this weekend and it got a great reaction.
Renai - Beware Of Your Surroundings
Had to include one of my friends in the playlist! Renai is not only a friend, but one of my favorite up and coming artists on the East Coast. The D.C. based artist recently released his first EP and the title track “Beware Of Your Surroundings” is one of my favorite tunes of 2024. Immaculate vibes on “Beware Of Your Surroundings” - I am obsessed with how the synths and vocals perfectly play with each other.
