Kisk
Giuseppe D’Alessandro, aka Kisk, is the founder of the recording label Apparel Music, an Art Director, communication designer, illustrator, and DJ active since 1996. His artistic journey spans from trip hop to swing, jungle, West London and Detroit house, deep house. Since the beginning of his career as a record producer, he has been an advocate for the concept of “Jazzy”: a mindset rooted in improvisation, emotion, open-mindedness and collaboration between technology and the human touch. He co-founded the Oneboy project, blending live instruments and DJ sets, and co-created the Discokit®️ with the writer Tatiana Carelli in 2006, a sensory exploration bringing club culture into the art world with over 60 events in two years. As a music producer, his discography includes collaborations with labels like Multivitamins (UK), PRO-TEZ (Russia), The dub (IT), and Vibe Me Records (ES), as well as artists such as SCSI-9, Lopazz, Ekkohaus, Emerson Todd, Yapacc, Marcel Vogel, Inkswel, Delano Smith, and Ivano Tetelepta. Giuseppe is also an accomplished illustrator, creating visual narratives that complement his and many others' musical work and reflect his eclectic artistic vision. For almost 30 years, he has called Milan home, where he also teaches Music Marketing at various schools, sharing his experience and passion for music and communication with the next generation.
