KaySoul and his The World's Going Crazy EP

- Hi K, how are you and how does it feel like releasing music on Apparel Music?

Hey, I am all good and I trust you are all good too. Thanks. Releasing music on Apparel Music feels amazing and surreal at the same time because I feel like I am dreaming to be on such a roster. I have been following Apparel Music for such a long time now and my dream of having my music released by Apparel Music has come true.

- Talk us through the creative process behind the making of this EP. How did it come about and how did you work on it?

The World's Going Crazy EP was started in the year 2020, the year of the pandemic. The World's Going Crazy EP was started in the year 2020, the year of the pandemic. The year of the pandemic had a positive impact in terms of creating and that's where I had time to think about ideas and who I wanted to work with on this project. The title track was created at home in my bedroom studio and everything was spontaneous and flowing, I finished the idea on the same day and then I contacted Desney Bailey via Facebook, telling her that I had something I would loved her to sing on and the rest is history. 4 Tops Drive and The World's Going Crazy were created on the same day and I thought that Rephlex could be a suitable fit to remix this track because it has that raw old school inspired type of House feel on it. It took Rephlex a week to finish the remix and I was happy with the way everything turned out. The World's Going Crazy was created using MPC 2000 drum packs, Genobazz for playing the bassline and I played leads from Korg M-20. 4 Tops Drive was created using MPC drum packs, Congas, Korg MS-20 leads.

- Can you share with us three tracks that inspired you during the making of?
