'Endtroducing'

Justnique and his Don't Touch My Juno EP

- Hi Niccolò, how are you and how does it feel like releasing music on Apparel Music?

I am fine thanks! I have always followed Apparel's releases with interest and I still haven't realized that I have become part of its artists!

- Talk us through the creative process behind the making of this EP. How did it come about and how did you work on it?

This EP was born with the intention of creating harmonic lines, basslines and catchy vocal melodies that can all be hummed individually. All the songs have the Juno 106 as their connecting thread, definitely my favorite synthesizer because it is extremely versatile and adaptable for the creation of environments or powerful jazzy chords. These works arose in a period where I definitely wanted to play instruments, abandoning sampling and recording bass, synths and voices.

- Which are the main music influences that you brought in your EP? Can you share with us three tracks that inspired you during the making of?

It was a period where I listened a lot to the productions of Andres, Jimpster and Fouk.
