Coming soon MINI002 7inch by Apparel Wax
We are delighted to announce that July 2023 is the month in which you will finally be able to know the new Apparel Wax product: Apparel Wax Mini. The Mini catalogue (dedicated to 7-inch vinyl) fits into the narrative of our masked hero as a sort of prequel, as the 'Mini' vinyl represents the ‘childhood’ of Apparel Wax, his life before its music started to be heard around the world. Another novelty is that the first release is double. In fact, APLWAXMINI001 and 002 will drop on the same day, both containing two tracks, one on each side. With a physical product of different size, we have also adapted the graphic design of the project, as you’ll notice looking at the record. The single that will be promoted before the release of the MINI002 EP is MINI002A (the A side), which represents with elegance and class the contemporary disco/house attitude that Apparel Wax wants to continue to develop and improve, bringing its musical innovations in constant evolution.

'Apparel Wax quickly follow up their summery sounding first 7" with a second sizzling offering that is perfect for warm nights of outdoor dancing. The label collective is behind the music which kicks off with 'Track 1', a slinky mid-tempo house cut with jazzy sax lines lighting it up and dusty drums moving your feet. On the flip things are just as airy and carefree, with 'Track 2' featuring a cute vocal and lots of fluid synth expressionism. Like the first drop, this second one comes with "non-GMO seeds".'

'Apparel Wax is launching a pretty cool seven inch series with two plates dropping on the same day (July 14 2023) with a flared-out disco/funk sound. I’m not one for the novelty of the “mystery producer” - plenty of people put on a mask with a new alias all the time without drawing attention to it - but whoever it is they’re doing God’s work on these four tracks creatively titled “MINI001” and “MINI002.” The A side of “MINI002” has a crazy sax and stomping groove that I can’t quite place, but it occupies a nice niche in my head and now my record collection. Make more 7” series. The world needs them.'
