Gerd - Chord Orbit

I’m unapologetically a space nerd, and anyone who knows me is well aware of my love for all things cosmic. Combine that with my passion for electronic music, and you’ve hit my sweet spot. Gerd’s track “Chord Orbit” is the epitome of this perfect fusion. The hypnotic synths in this tune transport me straight into the depths of the cosmos, making me feel as though I’m floating among the stars. There’s an otherworldly quality to the sound, a sense of journeying through uncharted territories in space, where each chord feels like a new discovery. The title “Chord Orbit” couldn’t be more fitting—it captures the cyclical, gravitational pull of the music, drawing you deeper into its spell with each listen. It’s more than just a track; it’s an experience, a sonic voyage that perfectly encapsulates my love for both space and electronic music. Every time I listen to it, I’m reminded of why these two worlds hold such a special place in my heart. This track doesn’t just play—it orbits, it transcends, and it takes you along for the ride.

Fouk - F3000

Fouk's "F3000" is a masterclass in reimagining a classic while infusing it with fresh energy for today’s dance floors. By expertly sampling Mandre’s 1979 gem "M3000 (Opus VI)," Fouk pays homage to the original while simultaneously pushing it into new sonic territories. The track doesn’t just replicate the past—it reinvents it, blending the retro-futuristic vibes of the original with Fouk’s signature modern touch. "F3000" retains the lush, spacey elements that made Mandre’s work iconic, but Fouk adds a contemporary flair that makes the track irresistible to a new generation of dancers. The deep, pulsating bassline, and that unmistakable synth melody, create a dynamic experience that’s impossible to resist. It’s a track that feels both nostalgic and futuristic, a perfect fusion of the old and the new. Fouk’s treatment of "M3000" is nothing short of genius. They’ve managed to craft a tune that’s respectful of its roots while also being a certified floor-filler in its own right. "F3000" isn’t just a remix; it’s a revitalisation, a track that honours the past while setting the stage for the future.

Astro Belters - User Friendly

"User Friendly" is everything its title promises and more—a pumped-up, energetic house number that delivers pure, unadulterated dance floor euphoria. From the moment the first beat drops, you’re hooked, transported to a world where grooves are king and inhibitions are left at the door. The dynamics are masterfully crafted, with each element building upon the last, creating a crescendo that feels like it could lift the roof off any venue. Signing this track to my previous label, Ghetto Disco Records, was one of the best decisions I ever made. It’s a true player in every sense, a gem that stands out not just for its impeccable production quality, but for the way it makes you feel—alive, energized, and ready to dance like no one’s watching. "User Friendly" lets loose in epic fashion.

Daniele Baldelli & Dj Rocca - Funk Infusion

My latest obsession is "Funk Infusion" by Daniele Baldelli & DJ Rocca, a track that masterfully fuses vintage funk with an edgy, modern twist. The standout feature of this tune is its irresistibly wonky synth line, which weaves its way through the track, creating a hypnotic and infectious groove. It’s the kind of sound that sticks with you long after the music stops, a testament to the duo’s genius in blending the old with the new. I had the pleasure of spinning "Funk Infusion" at Suncebeat in Lisbon, Portugal, and it was nothing short of magical. The dance floor was packed, the energy palpable, and the track worked its magic as if it was tailor-made for that moment. The crowd's reaction was electric—every beat seemed to resonate with the audience, drawing them deeper into the rhythm. It’s one of those tracks that not only elevates the set but transforms the entire atmosphere of the room.

Session Victim - Motivation (with Ras Stimulant)

"Motivation" by Session Victim featuring Ras Stimulant is a track that effortlessly captures the essence of what a perfect house number should be. With its infectious rhythm and pulsating beats, it commands movement—it’s impossible to stay still when this track comes on. The combination of Session Victim's production and Ras Stimulant’s contributions results in a tune that is both soulful and deeply rooted in the groove, embodying the kind of energy that makes house music so universally beloved. I remember vividly the impact this track had when I played it during my headlining set at Brixton Jamm last New Year. As soon as the opening notes hit, the crowd was electrified. The atmosphere in the room shifted instantly, with everyone on the floor moving in sync to the beat.

In Flagranti - Business Acumen

"Business Acumen" by In Flagranti is a track that epitomizes the power of infectious grooves and dynamic percussion. This is a disco gem that transcends the usual dancefloor fare, capturing an energy that’s both timeless and irresistible. From the moment the track begins, the driving beat takes hold, compelling you to move. It’s one of those rare tracks where the rhythm seems to take over your body. The percussion in "Business Acumen" is particularly noteworthy. It’s layered in a way that keeps the energy high and the momentum constant, creating a soundscape that’s both hypnotic and invigorating. The intricate, yet perfectly executed, rhythms combined with that relentless beat make this track an absolute killer on any dancefloor. It’s not just about the music; it’s about the visceral reaction it provokes in anyone who hears it. I’ve played "Business Acumen" in countless sets, and it never fails to ignite the crowd. It’s a track that doesn’t just ask you to dance—it demands it. The groove is so potent that it feels like it has a life of its own, sweeping through the room and taking everyone along for the ride. Simply put, you'd have to be dead not to move to this.
