Talent Sakè: Stefano Fontana

Stefano Fontana, aka Stylophonic, embodies colorful sounds and an eclectic vision born in Milan's legendary Plastic Club, a cornerstone of Italian underground culture. From fusing Chicago house, Detroit techno, and hip-hop into electro-funk breakthroughs like his debut album Man Music Technology (EMI), to international hits, remixes for Jovanotti and Bugo, and sets from Magazzini Generali to Ibiza's Amnesia, he's a resident DJ, label founder (Beatraxx), and global collaborator. Lately, his EP Born Again (Disco Pastrami) earned spins from Jamie Jones and Seth Troxler, with a new Animal Language release and remix album on the horizon in 2026, plus his vinyl-only "BOUNCE" residency at Milan's Detune

International recognition came with the Stylophonic project. His debut album Man Music Technology (EMI) stood out as a groundbreaking mix of hip hop, breaks, and house, quickly gaining traction across Europe. The singles charted internationally and featured collaborations and remixes from Digital Underground, Kevin Saunderson, Chicken Lips, King Britt, Rob Mello, and Radio Slave. The press soon labeled him the “Italian Fatboy Slim” for his crossover approach and versatility. His second album, Beatbox Show, marked a new phase in his artistic evolution. The single Baby Beatbox featured in D&G’s European campaign and appeared on numerous compilations, followed by Pure Imagination and Dancefloor. In 2008, he composed RU Experienced? for another D&G campaign (again with Hype Williams), remixed Martin Solveig, joined LCD Soundsystem, Alex Neri, and Tomboy for the Nike Plus project, and produced the Citroën “Oh My Gold” campaign soundtrack starring Naomi Campbell. Stefano is also the only Italian artist featured with an original track (Jack It Up) on the 40th Anniversary Trax Records Compilation, celebrating the Chicago label that gave birth to house music. At the end of March 2026, a remix album will be released featuring the two most internationally successful Stylophonic singles, “Baby Beatbox” and “Dancefloor”, remixed by some of the most highly regarded Italian DJs and producers active on the international scene, including Alex Neri, Lele Sacchi, Federico Grazzini, Mattia Trani, Samuel (Subsonica), Magnum, and others.

"Rosso Fontana", the drink conceived by our Morris and dedicated to him, is an homage to Milan's ultimate aperitivo, but with an unexpected sea breeze. Campari's red melts into Navigli waters at sunset, Fernet adds that dark, deep Milan grit—raw and real. Then Nori seaweed shifts it all seaside, flipping your perspective.

Morris Mau, a ten-year successful bartender based in Milan. His career be began at the Dude Club in Milan and then forward to places such as the Bulgari Hotel, the Apophis Club and the Portal Club of the Deus Ex Machina brand.
Morris is a mixology's philanthropist, a romantic visionary, a refined tailor with an alcholic soul, he is the result of a blood cocktail mixed with the Caribbean's sea, Cameroon and the Naples' coast.
Today he's a bar consultant trying to rewrite the definition of hospitality by creating bespoke concepts and unique experiences for his clients.
